• What is the difference between an air purifier and an air sterilizer?
  An air purifier is a product for the purpose of fine dust and deodorization, and an air sterilizer is a product for the purpose of sterilizing bacteria/viruses.
  
  
• Is this a CA certified product?
  CA is an air purifier group standard certification. Air sterilizers are not included.
  
  
• What is the difference between COBI PLATEC's plasma and other products' plasmas?
  Plasma used in other products includes corona discharge using high voltage and dielectric material, and DBD plasma method that sterilizes with high concentration ozone. It means that the sterilization is done by generating ozone and the sterilization power will eventually be low if there is less ozone.
   
  Our Atmospheric Pressure Bulk Plasma uses high voltage between metal electrodes and sterilizes by arc discharge and glow discharge. It is COBI PLATEC's unique eco-friendly technology with a large plasma generation area and almost no ozone generation.
  
  
• Does the filter or plasma module need to be replaced?
  The plasma module does not need to be replaced, but it may need to be replaced depending on the usage environment.
   
  The replacement cycle of the AIR PLA filter is usually 6 months.
  In the case of the X-PLA mini filter, the PRE filter can be cleaned and reused at least once a month.
  It is recommended to replace the deodorizing filter when it is used for more than 3 months.
  
  
• Where do I buy filters?
  It can be purchased at the place of purchase or at the head office (TEL: 82-2-6485-9900).
  
  
• There is black powder on the X-PLA mini filter packaging bag, is it okay to use?
  Activated carbon powder may be blown out of the deodorizing filter by any shock during shipping and handling.
  There is no problem with the performance and use of the filter.
  
  
• Is the product not working at all?
  Please check whether the power adapter is disconnected or the power jack is disconnected from the product.
  
  
• Why does the product keep making a “buzzing” sound during operation?
  The sound is generated in normal when the plasma mode is activated.
• Does the product keep making a “whirring” sound during operation?
  The sound of a fan working. At the end of operation, the fan may stop and make a “whirring” sound for a few seconds.
  
  
• The product produces a strange smell. What is it?
  When the plasma mode is operated, a characteristic odor may be emitted due to the sterilization
  effect. The smell is harmless to the body and it is normal to use as it is. (The ozone of this product is generated under 0.00PPM so that the smell is not related to ozone.)
